The 11th edition of Cinemìcinemà International Short Film Festival should have taken place in Arezzo from 24th to 26th September 2020; due to the global pandemic caused by Covid-19 the physical event has been cancelled. Finalist films will be shown on our website from 24th September and the Festival Closing Ceremony will be substituted by the online discolour of the winners on 26th September 2020.
For this reason as a Cultural Association we decided to mark our presence in Arezzo by gifting the city with an installation created for CinemìCinemà by As Art Collective; the art piece made with wool and paper, and taking up 10 square meters, will be on show for the whole month of September at La Clandestina (Corso Italia 102), in one the medieval heart of Arezzo.
This year the theme is “Challenges” and we are accepting entries for two categories: short films and animation short films. Each category is divided into two sections according to the author’s age UNDER 30 and OVER 30, to give a chance to win even to the youngest film makers.
